Your brother is nearly here

We're 30 weeks now so not too long before your brother makes an appearance. Daddy and I are really looking forward to his arrival. We often wonder what he will be like, and whether he will look and be just like you.

I'm nervous about the birth, partly the physical pain that I know it will bring but also not knowing how it will feel having another baby in my arms - overjoyed at the arrival to meet your little brother but overwhelmed with sorrow at the reminder that we once shared that momen but the only thing I have as a reminder are the photos and the memories.

Daddy and I came to visit last week. We stopped to talk to Jilly who is always very kind and friendly - she let Daddy have a couple of tree trunks to chop his fire wood which is nice as we have a little bit of Chilton in the garden which is a lovely reminder of you.

We hope you liked the sunflowers. They're Daddy's favourite and they beautifully lit up the woods like a diamond in the sand.

Another fund raising event was held this week by the DEFRA Summer Interns - they organised a cake and book sale which successfully raised over £300 which is amazing, and I felt very touched that they chose to do in memory of you.

Its Nana and Grandad's birthday (yesterday and today) so we're off to visit them over the weekend to celebrate. They talk about you often and like us, miss you dearly.

JJ drew a rainbow elephant yesterday and it reminded his mummy of you. She shared a photo with me which was really nice. I like to think these are your little ways of letting people know you're still with us.

Miss your beautiful face and warm cuddles.

Love you forever son, big hugs and lots of kisses.
