Your little brother is finally here!

Created by Clair 7 years agoAfter nearly 10 months of waiting, your little brother has finally arrived.
Labour started on 10 October, at approx 10.30am. After a visit to the hospital and hours of waiting around we were finally admitted to the birth centre where we had you, at approx midnight. We were hoping
for a similar birth to yours, but after 31 hours of contractions and having my waters broke twice things were unfortunately not progressing and the pain was becoming unbearable. A transfer to the labour ward, epidural put in and hormone drip started the contractions were a lot more intense except at this point I was pain free! However, with every contraction at its peak babas heart rate was
dropping so after numerous hours the doctors suggested a c-section for the safety of baby and I.
At 9.50pm on 11 October, baby Alleebux 2 was welcomed in to this world and what a little chunky monkey he was weighing a whooping 9lbs, 7ozs!
The poor baba was nameless for 12 days but Daddy and I finally settled on a name...
Joel Lucas Bear Alleebux!
Daddy and I wanted to honour your memory by giving Joel your name as a middle name.
Your little brother is gorgeous, and different to you in so many ways: looks, size, temperament etc. Daddy says he can see
similarities, but I find it hard. its
funny how siblings can look so different but then look and Daddy and Aunty Sonia!
Daddy, myself and Joel will visit in a few weeks. I can imagine the woods is
looking spectacularly beautiful right
now as the leaves on the trees start to turn from green to yellow, red and brown. Your
oaktree was the last to lose its leaves last year so let's see whether its the same this
year.
Your tribute page continues to grow and is
now over a staggering 36k! incredible. We're
so so proud of the legacy you have left
behind. However, it still doesn't make up for the fact that we wish so much that you were still here with us. Oh, how we would have loved to have you both here together. Brothers, our boys. Creating memories together.
