To my little precious boy, Lucas

Mummy and Daddy have taken a trip away to Lazarote, back to the same hotel (Malina Selinas) we went to last year when pregnant with you. We decided to come back here as we'd had such a nice time here last year. It was very strange the first few days and we spent much of it reminiscing and taking about you. Your little brother or sister is growing very big so mummy's belly is getting very big and round. We have been asked if its our first child, to which we then explain that it's our second and tell them all about you. We made one couple cry which was obviously not intended but it goes to show how touched people are when they hear your story.

We've actually managed a few trips out of the hotel this year! We hired a car and went off to Fire Mountain which was incredible, and also to Playa Blanca which was ok; it had a lovely beach so we stopped for a spot of lunch. We also went to the Teguise Sunday Market which was disappointing as cheap sunglasses, belts and fake handbags pretty much sums it up! Needless to say, we didn't stay long and jumped in to a taxi back to the hotel to make the most of the sunny weather which has been hit and miss during the week.

We manage to secure an upgrade to the Level which allows us access to the private pool area and level lounge with all sorts of goodies. I'll tell you the reason why another time although you probably already know! 😉 

We came to visit you before we left and saw the beautiful bluebells and trees blooming in glory - it's such a magical place and the change in seasons are truly stunning. We hope you liked your yellow tulips - have the Mucjac deers been at them yet? 

Anyway, we'll be back soon with the family as we have a couple of lunches planned in the nearby village. 

Hope the new addition, baby Hopcroft is settling in and you're all looking after him and playing nicely.
