You would have been 6 months and Monday marked the end of my maternity leave. It feels like only yesterday that I was holding you in my arms for the very first time yet so much has happened since the day you were born to date. So much so that you would think it was much longer. I smile every time I look at the pictures of you but then there are days, like yesterday that I sob. I know it's always going to be that way as there will always be milestones, events, happenings that I wish you were there for. 

Daddy and his friends ran a half marathon on Sunday in your memory. They did amazing and you would have been so proud - they carried a picture of you in their backs and knew it would get them to the finish line. They also had some fantastic supporters which I'm sure would have spurred them on. They raise over £4000 which is absolutely incredible. These funds will help with treatment and research to help other little children like you.

It's Easter this weekend and mummy's birthday next weekend. More milestones, more heartache with you not being here.
