This evening I took to the netball court for my first match in a year since finding out I was pregnant with you. I am back training with the lovely Hyde Park girls and whilst it was fun to have my first social run out on court the effects from having a baby 4 months ago was felt throughout. My body still healing from pregnancy and birth, I wasn't as quick or as dynamic but I can still throw a ball and shoot some hoops. Somehow I even managed to get player from the umpire - which was flattering but yet I left feeling very sad that you weren't there to watch.
I want to make you proud Son and everything I do is for you. I hope that wherever you are, you are looking down saying 'That's my Mum!'
