It should have been so different.

Mummy and Daddy were so looking
forward to this Christmas with you. We wanted to have a wonderful big tree with beautiful decorations and to take you for a stroll around the park before tucking in to dinner then spending the rest of the day sprawled on the sofa.

We didn't want presents as you were the best gift we could have ever asked for. It just wasn't to be.

We keep being told that it wasn't your time and that you are better place. I hope that is true and that you get to experience all the things that you missed out on in the world. I will always be here for you Son, and like to think that we will be reunited again one day. 

We came to visit you on Christmas morning and had breakfast with you. Nanny Anita and Codey brought you a lovely mini Christmas tree that we placed under the oak tree for you and the other little ones to enjoy. Mummy and Daddy also hung some wooden decorations on the oak tree - we hope you liked them. 

It's been really hard being separated from you all these weeks, but the last few days being especially tough. It's with thanks to our wonderful friends and family that we have got through them. You have been in many of their thoughts and many candles were shining for you Son on Christmas Day.
