Story

In July this year I will be taking part in the 'Ride London 100' cycle race, from London to Surrey and back, taking in Leith Hill and Box Hill. Being a colleague of Clair's, I am well aware of the excellent work that Children with Cancer do and I'm proud/delighted to join their team for the ride and support Clair and Karim's excellent work in tribute to little Lucas. I did it/thank you!

It went well. All done in 7 3/4 hrs. So far I have raised just over £900, which is testament to the generosity of friends, family and colleagues. This is a small part of the truly-amazing £76k which Claire Alleebux and her husband have raised in tribute to their late son Lucas, which makes the unexpectedly high total even more gratifying. Anyway, thank you again and please see attached a photo of my family and I from the day, which was brutal at times but overwhelmingly fun.

Training/ thanks

Just over 2 weeks to go. My training has commenced again after an unfortunate incident with a 'Boris bike' ended my previous bicycle's life. My new bike is faster, which will hopefully make up for my lack of miles. Feeling ready for the end of the month. Thank you to everyone for your support and (very generous!) sponsorship :)
