Story
So I continue to say to myself that all I need to do is to put one foot in front of another and that the crowd and opportunity will help ‘carry’ me forward…. I then realise the thought of running 26.2 miles still fills me with dread, fear and a sickly feeling at the pit of my stomach. Up until now I wasn’t sure I was going to turn up on the start line… Having some perspective on what really matters has given me ‘the kick’ I needed and to use this opportunity to raise funding for a greater cause. Both cancer and loss of children is both close to my family, friends and colleagues and therefore I would very much appreciate all donations. The reality is I have tried raising money by asking for it, and by not asking for it…. I always get more by asking! Please support children with cancer in loving memory of Lucas Alleebux.
